Morgan Stanley Fund Services Inc. seeks an Associate, Product Development in New York, New York

Design and implement automated solutions for financial calculations and reports to meet client needs. Gather and analyze large sets of data through various systems, and implement complex mathematical calculations. In-depth analysis of existing manual computational processes to design and implement automated software solutions that reduce operational risk and create operational efficiency. Build algorithms and software for complex multi-party reconciliation among custodians and the fund administration business. Identify software issues that require solutions. Drive the end-to-end delivery of financial and accounting software system features. Use an iterative development methodology to support the product implementation lifecycle comprising of requirements gathering, design, development, quality assurance (QA) testing and client release. Collaborate with business, development, and vendor teams to deliver product enhancements. Work as a product owner. Drive continuous improvements of user experience after product deployment.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,200 and $170,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
