Monica Lynne Neidorff ECC is currently looking to hire a floating toddler teacher, 40 hours a week. 10 hour shift Monday-Friday with one weekday off.

Overall Responsibility:

As a Toddler Teacher with MLNECC you will work together with our teachers, students and families to create and implement a positive learning environment for toddler aged students using a “learning through play” philosophy as well as your own knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices together with specific interests of the children.

Desired Candidate Must:

· Have a passion for early childhood education and desire to help each child reach his or her potential - must have prior experience working with young children.

· Be a motivated team player

· Have knowledge of what is developmentally appropriate for preschool aged students

· Be able to see the individuality and strengths in every child

· Use a positive approach in dealing with disruptive behavior and make fair and impartial decisions regarding consequences

· Develop and maintain an appropriate, well-organized and clean physical classroom environment along with your co-teacher

· Ability to communicate and maintain a welcoming and constructive relationship with students, parents and teachers

· Be patient, nurturing, flexible and dedicated

· Be willing to take responsibility and initiative

· Be punctual and regular in attendance

Physical Demands:

· Must be able to sit for extended periods of time on the floor and able to lift up to 50lbs.

Education and Experience:

· Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred but not required.

· Experience is a plus but we can also train.

· Knowledge of Judaism is not required

Terms of Employment

· Full-time employees are assigned to a four-day work calendar persisting of ten hours per day; compensation and benefits (Dental and Vision). Earned paid time off after the first 3 months of employment. Six paid federal holidays per year and 7 paid Jewish holidays per year.

- We offer 1 hour PAID break for employees who work 8-10 hours per day.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
