Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Catering Sales Associate as our company’s first catering sales hire. The position will be responsible for prospecting and generating new business to drive catering sales growth. This role requires a proactive approach to prospecting, networking, strong communication, and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building a sales funnel, and will be excited to work directly with the founders to create and build this part of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and lead generation
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, event planners, and vendors to maximize sales opportunities
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create customized menus and proposals based on client preferences and event requirements
• Prepare and present sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients
• Coordinate event logistics and communicate client needs to internal teams to ensure seamless execution
• Track sales activity and pipeline using CRM software, and provide regular reports to management

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of success in catering sales or related industry, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience
• Strong understanding of the catering and events industry, including current trends and best practices
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with CRM software
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation:

• Uncapped commission

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
