We are actively looking for an Part Time Operations Manager to join our Raleigh office. As part of the Operations team, this role will serve as a Senior Manager and supports the Chief Operating Officer in the execution of company operations. Assignments may be geographic in nature (overseeing a grouping of offices) or functional in nature providing leadership for operational functions such as resource management, delivery, business, or integration of new resources. As a senior manager duties may be reassigned to best fit the current needs of the company.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Oversee a grouping of offices to ensure appropriate executions of services, creation and implementation of marketing and growth plans, that they meet business objectives for the office, and stay coordinated with corporate functions and policies including the integration of quality management initiatives
• Provide leadership and lead teams on cross cutting issues of company interest such as alternative delivery, business process, growth initiatives, key clients and similar efforts
• Provide leadership on project delivery to ensure teams are properly staffed, and sound design approach is being practiced on key projects
• Coordinate with accounting staff on preparation and execution of company budget 
• Lead resource management efforts including the creation of tools, creation of production teams, forward looking scheduling, with focus on workshare and staffing needs
• Work with Practice Leadership to understand and assist in shaping strategic growth initiatives of the company and to 
• Coordinate with legal, HR, accounting, IT, marketing, executive leadership, on an as required basis on issues related to geographic or functional role
• Assist with M&A activities as directed to support identification, due diligence, and integration activities
•  Supervises a variety of positions throughout the business unit

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; required
• 15 years of consulting engineering experience in a leadership role; required
• 20 years in engineering consulting industry; required
• Operational experience in an engineering consulting firm to include leading an office, or region, or corporate operational team; required
• Knowledge of project management, business processes, system analysis and IT-related projects; required
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) 
• Availability and willingness to travel

Working conditions:
