Cook PT (Mon-Fri)
4:00 am - 11:00 am (start times may vary)
$14.00 per hour (paid vacation/sick time)
Location: Modern Maturity Center, Dover, DE, 19904
Skills Required:
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- Experience in cooking and food preparation
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menu specifications
- Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
- Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that meals are prepared efficiently
- Assist head Cook with menu planning and development
- Observes and tests food being cooked by tasting, smelling and taking temperatures
- Ensures that serving lines have adequate supplies of food
- Receives and stores food and supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Production Manager
