Mobile Video Guard is Hiring a Sales Development Rep Near Bowie, MD

 If you are a self-starter, quick learner, and enjoy talking to people, this job is for you. We are seeking an energetic and ambitious individual who is ready to get their career on the fast-track in a high-growth, security surveillance environment. The Sales Development Representative position will create and qualify sales opportunities, prepare estimates, generate proposals, process bids, and close deals to drive company revenue. This position allows you to engage in inside sales, sales support and proactive sales. 
Job duties include:
  • Respond quickly to customer needs, requests, and problems 
  • Conduct reactive web-lead qualification & conversion 
  • Perform data entry into CRM & other reporting systems 
  • Conduct proactive lead generation, qualification & conversion 
  • Conduct proactive outreach to prospective customers/projects using various techniques including but not limited to email, phone calls, and direct mail 
  • Conduct virtual product demonstrations & presentations 
  • Develop proposals/estimates 
  • Conduct proposal follow up tasks 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
Qualifications: 
  • Previous sales or related customer service experience
  • Construction industry familiarity 
  • High school graduate
  • Exposure to CRM platforms, Google, and Microsoft Office 365 products preferred
  • Knowledge or experience in estimating and cost building preferred
Skills/Competencies: 
  • Technologically proficient 
  • Effective communication (personable, outgoing, clear, and concise in both verbal and written communication) 
  • Seeks process/efficiency improvement
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize 
  • Ability to create and maintain new customer relationships 
  • Ability to overcome customer stalls/objections 
  • Basic math skills

Mobile Video Guard was founded in 2016 as SMART Security Pros. We provide remote monitored security video surveillance primarily for construction sites, but also car dealerships, equipment yards, and other facilities across the country. We do this with a proprietary system we build in-house and install at the job sites so that our Video Surveillance Agents can monitor projects for after-hours intrusion.
