The MedicalAssistant is responsible for a variety of patient care technicaland clericalrelated functions. The Medical Assistant is responsiblefor the clinic patient flow by assisting members of the patientcare team and providing a broad range of health care services.

As amember of the patient care team the Medical Assistant is also awareof the psychosocial needs of patients and families

Delegation of medical services is not permitted toindividuals not licensed to perform that medical service

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• 1 year experience as a Certified Medical AssistantREQUIRED
• Must be Nationally certified as a CMARMA CCMA NCMA NRCMA
