A global innovator in the ever-expanding wheel company is seeking a Japanese Bilingual_ Planning and Material Specialist candidate._

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing forecast and product inventory.
• Process purchase orders and coordinate the shipment of parts.
• Place orders with Asia team and ensure the delivery due is kept.
• Work with Asia team to support customers with various requests (quantity, schedule, etc. )
• Answer customer inquiries (non-technical) and communicate necessary information to the team (US and Japan).
• Issue Purchase Orders for individual parts with Asia team and US suppliers
• Closely monitor procurement status and expedite the delivery and coordinate on-time delivery.
• Conduct current and future inventory level analysis, ensuring customer orders and forecasts are followed by on-hand inventory and in-transit product inventory.
• Generate the monthly inventory report.
• Coordinate with sales team to avoid excess inventory and backorders.
• Review and follow up on past due date purchase orders.
• Update shipping information, such as ETA and open purchase.
• Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or university; and/or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Sales experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be able to speak and write in Japanese.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
