Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems is Hiring a Human Resource Assistant Near Beloit, KS

Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems is seeking a full-time Human Resource Assistant with a strong work ethic to become an integral part of our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Human Resource Director, focusing on employee value proposition, employee recruitment and retention, employee support, benefit administration, conflict resolution and company culture. This position requires a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment, along with outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information. This candidate will champion diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
Key responsibilities include scheduling and facilitating employee onboarding and orientation, managing employee-related social media, attending recruitment fairs, administering employee benefits, assisting with payroll processes, managing time and attendance processes, maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, and fostering a positive workplace culture to enhance employee satisfaction through HR projects and initiatives. Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Science related degree is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous Human Resource experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping techniques is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Docs software is required.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills are a must.
  • A marketing background is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups.
