```Job Summary``` We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing chairside assistance to dentists and performing various administrative tasks. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. ```Responsibilities``` - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures - Assist dentists during dental procedures by handing them instruments and materials - Take and develop dental X-rays - Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records using Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic software - Follow proper infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment - Provide post-operative instructions to patients and schedule follow-up appointments - Perform dental receptionist duties such as greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling phone calls - Take and record vital signs of patients - Assist with medical coding and billing procedures - Conduct patient assessments, including taking medical history and recording chief complaints - Utilize CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations ```Skills``` To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and operating X-ray equipment - Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for managing patient records - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality - Experience with medical coding and billing procedures - Ability to take accurate vital signs of patients - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members effectively Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.42 - $21.74 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
