The Marketing Coordinator position is an all-encompassing role responsible for supporting Marketing in planning and executing campaigns and projects.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, be willing and able to handle several responsibilities, and be confident with taking the initiative.
  • Coordinate and support in store advertising campaigns, promotions, and new product introductions.
  • Assists with planning, preparation, and oversees tradeshows, customer events and business meetings.
  • Contribute to Social Media engagement when applicable.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (ex. sales and executive) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department meets its goals.
  • Ability to assist with administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department meets its goals.
  • Oversees store communication on new and discontinued products, vendor switch outs, and defective merchandise.
  • Comfortable writing and editing marketing documents, emails, and website content.
  • Team player with strong collaborative skills, humble and enthusiastic learner’s mindset, and adaptability/flexibility to pitch in when needed.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage/execute multiple ongoing projects
  • Research, order, and manage branded swag and marketing materials.

Preferred qualifications

  • Motivated self-starter with strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Creative talents are a significant plus.
  • Experience in creating marketing assets and social media content is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to be involved in key decisions to drive the success of marketing initiatives.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Must have proficient knowledge of word processing software in order to produce and edit copy and text for store communications, advertising, POS, and merchandising.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have intermediate spreadsheet skills.
  • Strong documentation skills as needed for written reports, specification models and other analysis as needed.
  • Strong organizational and follow through skills with attention to detail are required. Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize projects while meeting time sensitive deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly learn and be able to demonstrate the specific Miller Paint product line required.
  • Effective people skills to problem solve and work with wide range of external customers and internal support with positive results.
  • Minimal graphic design experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Position requires valid driver’s license for state of residency and driving record permitting coverage under corporate policy or ability to travel within Oregon and Washington in a timely manner. If driving a personal vehicle, must provide proof of personal auto liability insurance.
  • Occasional travel to stores, events, trade shows and locations as needed to meet managers and customers.
  • Ability to lift, move and maneuver up to 50lbs as needed to transport and deliver product.
  • Requires ability to visually check for color accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
