Millennial Tech is looking to fill a Business Analyst for our clients in Higher ED.

The Business Analyst should have at least 2 experience with business users and networking with Higher Ed a nice to have. The Analyst will analyze, define and document network requirements and also assist with the business case development by analyzing the current state in terms of people, process and access. Eliciting requirements and critical success factors for improved future state are an important part of the position as well in addition to analyzing, translating and simplifying requirements. The Analyst should have the ability to develop conceptual or graphic data flows and diagrams.

Project Specifics include the following:

The project is a multi-year network transformation project, migrating from traditional static IP protocol to a Mobility platform that can be automated. This role will work closely with internal clients in Central IT departments to provide data analysis and customer outreach via surveys and questionnaires which the Analyst will help build. The Analyst will capture customers network needs, requirements (both current and future), and transform those into data flows and reports. The Analyst will work closely with the IT teams to build a migration strategy using graphs, charts, flows, pivot tables and smart sheets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with coursework in information systems or computer science preferred; or equivalent experience
• At least 2 experience working with administrative systems, preferably in business analyst capacity.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and technical writing ability
• Fluency with Microsoft Office
• Direct experience with business analysis tools and techniques strongly desired
• Solid understanding of network systems

NOTES:

This is primarily remote with on site presence once a quarter.
