Millard Roofing is Hiring a Litigation Attorney Near Omaha, NE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for handling breach of contract claims and providing legal support and guidance throughout the litigation process.

Duties:

- Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support legal proceedings

- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs

- Defend claims against company

- Attend court hearings, trials, mediations and other legal proceedings

- Negotiate settlements

- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies

- Provide legal advice and guidance

- Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation

- Stay current with changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases

Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong research and analytical abilities

- Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation

- Ability to negotiate effectively

- Knowledge of legal research methods and resources, such as Lexis-Nexis

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction

- Prior experience in litigation required
