Job Summary

The shipping and receiving clerk executes the shipping and receiving of materials and inventory into, within, and out of the company. This position supports Purchasing, Quality, Finanace, and other functional teams as needed to maintain integrity within the ERP system and resolve issues as it pertains to data accuracy, physical counts, and adhering to internal SOPs.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

• Processes shipments and receipts to international customers utilizing ERP system as appropriate, and maintains paper records
• Processes shipments using necessary tools and materials to ensure safe product transportation
• Works with other departments as needed for shipping customer orders to ensure on-time delivery
• Schedules carrier pickups and track customer orders, as needed
• Verifies physical product matches documentation prior to shipment
• Verifies product, packing lists, and purchase orders when receiving shipments
• Performs 3-way match for incoming shipments
• Labels incoming products and transports to appropriate area
• Works with cross functional teams to resolve open issues and complete necessary reports as needed
• Adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements (quality systems, regulatory bodies, etc.)
• Maintains shipping and receiving supplies
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
• Backup in stockroom as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• 3 – 5 years of experience in field, warehouse or stockroom setting
• Ability to communicate effectively and utilize basic math skills
• Persistent and diligent, attention to safety, detail oriented, and accuracy a must
• Requires a self-starter who can successfully handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs. regularly
• Entry level experience in Microsoft Office and ERP Systems
• Experience working with lot and serial numbers a plus
• Working knowledge of UPS - World Ship, FedEx Ship software, and International Shipping a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
