Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping & communicate with supervisor.
· Correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, status updates, etc.
· Unload, uncrate, or unpack materials and transport to designated inventory location or proper disposal area using forklift or by hand as appropriate.
· Perform computer transactions, including input of material receipts, cycle counts, stock adjustments, etc.
· Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols.
· Maintain high standards of organization and cleanliness.
· Perform safe work practices as well as safe operation of vehicles and equipment.
· Complete all required safety training including working at heights.
· Complete all required training for forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift operation.
Requirements:
· 2-3-year experience working in a manufacturing environment.
· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced.
· A Team Player who constructively contributes to a positive environment
· Ability to communicate information (in small groups) to other employees.
· Must be prepared to work extra overtime hours when required.
· Knowledge of Shipping & Receiving forms & terminology (BOL, Packing Slip, COO, COC, etc.)
· Good legible penmanship
· Previous forklift experience
· Able to lift up to 50lbs.
· Experience with MS Word / Excel / Outlook
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Experience with ERP systems (SAP, EPICOR, ORACLE)
