Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking a IT Help Desk Technician for our Corporate Office located in Lakeville Minnesota. 

Job Summary:
Support and maintain corporate system users, software, and hardware according to corporate needs. Effectively communicate procedural changes and enhanced computer capabilities to the appropriate parties for appropriate implementation. Enforce and adhere to corporate policies and standard procedures. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain printer functionality.
• Responsible for all data backups by making sure tapes are changed and data is routinely archived.
• Provide technical support for system users. This includes outside sales force, branch users, as well as corporate office personnel.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly system tasks. These include running reports, submitting batch jobs, and coordinating schedule.
• Set up new users and new hardware.
• Handle software installations on PC systems. Perform software upgrades and security patches.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily
• Associate degree or two years equivalent comprehensive Information Systems training is preferred
• Experience with Internet and Networking Skills to include WAN, TCP/IP
• Experience with Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
• Experience with Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019
• Experience with Office365
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
• Experience with Computer Hardware
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Windows, PC hardware, Linux, AS/400
• Good written and verbal communication skills, troubleshooting ability
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Ability to work with Corporate office to achieve mutual goals
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently

Equipment Used:
Regularly uses typical office equipment including computer keyboard and terminal, telephone,
Fax, copier, TCP/IP, hubs, switches, routers, firewalls, LAN, WAN, VPN, Ethernet, client-server.

Work Environment:
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Traveling may be required periodically. Work will typically be performed Monday through Friday. Working more than 40 hours per workweek may be required.
