Position Summary
Responsible for data entry of vendor invoices, various license and tax payments, utilities and expense reports. This includes processing, monitoring invoices and ensuring proper approvals are in place prior to inputs, in accordance with company policy.
Duties and Responsibilities
Pulling, matching, coding, editing, and inputting invoices into our Accounting System in a timely manner. Assembling supporting documentation, including check copies to be filed in Accounts Payable hardcopy vendor files.
Processing of vendor payments via check, as well as assisting in weekly check runs.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. Match invoices to checks, and 1099/W-9 maintenance.
Sort and distribute incoming mail and invoices (from post office and email).
Posting of ACH/EFT payments, along with reconciling to company bank statement and vendor statement.
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Essential Skills Required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Education/Experience Qualifications
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or three to five years of related experience
2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related field.

Environmental Factors
This position is performed within an environment of frequent exposure to a general office environment where standard office equipment is used such as a computer, copy machine, fax machine, telephone, etc.

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, bend and reach.
The employee will frequently be required to lift, push or pull weight of at least 5 to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist in moving files/records as needed.
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
