Mid American Wealth Advisory is looking for people to fit the Associated Advisor role.
· All Appointments pre set
· Working with qualified prospects
· Generous base plus commission, could be six figures within first two years

The Associate Advisor’s primary focus is to free the lead advisor to focus on new business and maintaining only the most complete and highest value client relationships. The Associate Advisor will conduct financial analyses and make customized investment recommendations for less complex clients with the guidance of the Lead Advisor. The Associate Advisor is fully accountable for contacting prospects to set appointments, maintaining files and records, handling day-to-day client management, advice delivery for the clients, and retention. Key duties for this role including deepening relationships with clients, meeting with prospects/clients typically transitions from Lead Advisor, portfolio risk analysis, and providing investment recommendations based on research.
Job Duties:
Daily:
1. Data gathering using fact finder
2. Receive incoming prospect and client calls in a friendly, warm manner
3. Conduct client meetings to present recommendations/deliver advice
4. Answer questions from client as it pertains to their account
5. Review and respond to emails as necessary
6. Maintain files and records in accordance with the records retention policy.
Weekly:
1. Prepare for client meetings (applications/analysis)
2. Perform case analysis and develop recommendations
3. Communicate with team members on client documentation, prep, and process
4. Participate in meetings
Monthly:
1. Review work methods and procedures for possible improvements and efficiencies
2. Review database to ensure client records are up to date
3. Maintain strong compliance documentation
Quarterly:
1. Portfolio analysis and monitoring
2. Gather account values and complete client review summary for upcoming appointments
3. Assist with client update reports
As Needed:
1. Write notes or letters to clients
2. Respond to advice related client calls
3. Maintain current licenses and appointments with agencies and companies
4. Investment research for new products and provide summary to Advisor
5. Assign and delegate work and provide feedback, when appropriate, to support team
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Series 65 or 66 required
-Knowledge of key financial, investment, and risk management concepts
-Ability to market local clients transitioned from Lead Advisor
-Effective communication and persuasive ability
-Highly organized with strong follow-through
-Process driven while completing tasks
-Ability to prioritize day-to-day tasks and issues
-Resourceful in problem resolution
-Phenomenal phone skills and ability to build trust with clients
-Operate with a proactive approach when dealing with Advisor and clients
-Experience working in fast paced environment
-Demonstrate persistence to achieve quality
-Ability to learn quickly
-Not adverse to change
-Working knowledge of computers and software
-Able to prioritize, deadline and detail sensitive
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Possess a passion to help team and clients
