Research and test operating systems-level software compilers, and network distribution software. Plan, architect, deploy, or support complex client/server or base software systems. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. Establish standards for a design, architecture, and recovery process that results in comprehensive, scalable recovery plans across multiple groups and services. Develop or contribute to creating an implementation, validation, and rollback plan. Lead investigations of problems by using standard and custom problem management tools and processes. Telecommute work permitted less than 50% per week within the same geographic area as assigned Microsoft office location.
> EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Technology Management, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
> EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Two (2) years of software development experience formulating and analyzing software requirements utilizing a high-level programming language (C, C#, C or similar).
> SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: This position also requires: at least 2 years of experience in Azure, Azure Services, Web Services, .NET, C#, .NET Framework; and education or experience in Web Apps.

The offered base pay range for this specific position (TSBRN17653), based in Atlanta, GA, is $137,410 to $167,410.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
