As an Guest Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our visitors have an unforgettable experience at Miami Seaquarium.

Our aquarium is home to a diverse range of marine life, from colorful fish and playful dolphins to majestic sharks. As a Guest Specialist, you will be responsible for welcoming and assisting visitors, providing information about our exhibits and programs, and ensuring their visit is educational, enjoyable, and memorable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service from the moment they enter the aquarium
• Provide accurate and detailed information about our exhibits, animal species
• Conduct educational talks on marine life to enhance the visitor's understanding and appreciation
• Monitor visitor flow and identify potential issues or safety concerns, taking immediate action to address them
• Maintain clean and organized exhibit areas to ensure a visually appealing and safe environment for visitors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred
• Passion for marine life and excellent knowledge of different species, their habitats, and conservation efforts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with people of all ages
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
