MGM Resorts International is Hiring a Surveillance Shift Manager - Gaming - Mandalay Bay Near Las Vegas, NV

THE JOB:

The Surveillance Shift Manager will oversee the daily operations of their shift to meet company and departmental practices, procedures, and GamingCommission regulations.You'll assist in overseeing game protection and security of the guest and employee experience and have a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of gaming regulations and security protocols.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Supervise Operations: Lead and oversee Surveillance Lead Operators and Operators during shifts, managing CCTV equipment operation, daily reporting, and evidence maintenance.

  • Maintain Observational Quality: Ensure accuracy, quantity, and documentation of observations, reviewing video and documentation for key incidents like jackpots, complaints, procedural errors, and theft.

  • Expertise in Casino Games: Possess in-depth knowledge of casino games, payoffs, rules, cheating methods, and advantage play to train Operators and uphold SOPs.

  • Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the point of contact with state Gaming Regulators for cheating and customer complaint incidents, as well as external agencies.

  • Shift Management: Organize shift schedules and duties to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.

  • Team Management: Conduct one-on-one meetings with teams, addressing concerns, employing conflict resolution, and administering discipline when necessary.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 2 years of prior relevant experience in surveillance or table games position in a casino/hotel environment.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

  • Proficiency in operating CCTV systems (Closed-CaptionTelevision).

  • Strong aptitude for technology with the ability to navigate and troubleshoot various technical systems.

  • Knowledge of table games within a gaming environment.
