Overview

We are currently seeking an Investor Relations Director position to join our growing company. The candidate will support capital raising, client management, marketing/communications initiatives, and investor reporting. 

Responsibilities

• Support the President in the management of investor relationships through robust and timely marketing, reporting, and overall investment communication with investors
• Be the primary point of contact for potential and new investors, while providing customer service to our existing investor base
• Conduct periodic outreach to potential investors, wealth managers, and other consultants
• Assist with capital raising activities, including communication, tracking, and follow-up with investors
• Research and coordinate responses to incoming investor inquiries working with other teams across the organization to gather information
• Produce investor materials and participate in meetings with investors and consultants
• Read and understand market reports to be able to communicate to investors

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in an investor relations role, or similar position
• Prior work experience with clients that provide sensitive personal financial information
• Previous experience with multifamily or commercial property investments preferred
• Previous experience with the Yardi Investment Management and CRM platform preferred
• Prior experience reading and interpreting complex legal documents preferred
• Must have demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s degree in communication, finance, real estate, or a related field
• Overall knowledge and understanding of real estate investments (e.g., underwriting, legal structures, tax benefits, etc.)
• Completion of education/training in related real estate industry courses preferred
