Job Summary:
MetroWest Subaru, a leading dealership in Natick, MA, is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Used Car Sales Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing our used car sales department, as well as driving sales and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive sales and management, and will be able to motivate and lead a team to success.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary and commission structure. In addition, eligible employees will receive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, employee discounts, and more.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the used car sales department, including all sales associates and processes
• Train and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
• Monitor sales metrics and track performance to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to boost sales
• Stay up-to-date on current market trends and adjust pricing and inventory accordingly
• Create and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
• Utilize effective sales techniques to negotiate and close deals with customers
• Work with the finance department to secure financing for customers
• Collaborate with the service department to ensure all used cars are in top condition and address customer concerns in a timely manner
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt communication and efficient problem resolution
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and sales forecasts for management
• Continuously improve the sales process and procedures to enhance the customer experience and maximize efficiency
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent education required; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
• At least 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales, with 2 years in a management role
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
