Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township is Hiring a Systems Support Technician Near Indianapolis, IN
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of computer operating systems.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of WAN/LAN.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of network and application servers, i.e. DNS, DHCP, email, Skyward, domain controllers, etc.
- Set up and install new computer equipment.
- Diagnose, configure, maintain, repair, and support computer hardware equipment, both instructional and administrative in a timely manner.
- Assist with maintaining and repairing audio-visual equipment.
- Install, configure, and support telephones.
- Maintain and respond to helpdesk tickets.
- Assist the Principal of your designated school with IT-related functions.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Chief Technology Officer and Manager of IT User Services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in a computer-related field or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- CompTIA A , Network , and Security are preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
The position may be filled at any time.
