We are searching for a seasoned maintenance technician with apartment maintenance skills to join our team. The roving maintenance technician will support the properties we manage with apartment turnovers and general maintenance. This role will collaborate with our management teams and will be responsible for performance of the day-day maintenance operations of the physical lead and grounds of the residential and commercial property(ies). These responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with the policies of MetroPlains Management.

General maintenance of the properties is included but not limited to the following:

• Preventative maintenance

• Apartment turnovers

• HVAC

• Lock changes

• Electrical

• Plumbing

• Appliance repair

Physical Demands

1. Must be able to lift 20 to 50 pounds on a regular basis; on occasion will lift up to 100 pounds

2. Requires walking through buildings and exterior grounds on a daily basis

3. Must be able to bend, stretch, stoop, lift and reach on a frequent basis

Candidates should possess the following:

1. High School or equivalent education with one to two years related experience and/or training preferred, or a combination of relevant work experience and education is required
