Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Status: Full Time

Shift/Hours: 12pm - 8pm

Salary: starting at $18/hr

What do I need as a Food Service Supervisor with Messiah Lifeways?

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Previous experience as a supervisor in the food service industry, preferred

What will I do as a Food Service Supervisor with Messiah Lifeways?

• Responsible for oversight and leadership of the dining team
• Follows all food safety regulations regarding food preparation, storage, handling, and serving
• Provide team members with training on food preparation and safety procedures
• Identify and resolve issues by coordinating with managers from other departments, such as marketing, accounting, human resources, purchasing, nursing, enhanced living and residential living
• Maintains good communication and working relationships with other supervisory personnel, team members and residents
• Assists with personnel issues
• Participates in interviewing potential candidates
• Establish team member schedules, including the hiring of new employees when necessary
• Participates in creating a training schedule for new team members, and ensures required trainings are completed
• Ensures Relias training is compliant with all dining team members
• Regularly inspects the kitchens for cleanliness and maintenance issues
• Ensure that all team members are working efficiently and cooperatively
