**Position Overview:**

As a Guest Service Supervisor at our IHG Property, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for supervising front desk staff, managing daily operations, and upholding the high standards of the IHG brand. **Experience with Opera PMS is recommended.**

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Team Leadership:**

- Supervise, train, and motivate front desk staff to ensure a cohesive and high-performing team.

- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, share best practices, and address any concerns.

2. **Guest Services:**

- Oversee the check-in and check-out process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.

- Foster a guest-centric culture among front office staff to enhance the overall guest experience.

3. **Operational Excellence:**

- Maintain a thorough understanding of IHG policies and procedures, ensuring compliance among front desk staff.

- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate seamless guest experiences.

- Monitor and manage room inventory, rates, and reservations to optimize revenue.

4. **Quality Assurance:**

- Conduct regular audits of front desk procedures to ensure adherence to brand standards.

- Implement corrective actions when necessary to address any deviations from established protocols.

5. **Training and Development:**

- Facilitate ongoing training for front desk staff on IHG standards, guest service techniques, and technology usage.

- Identify opportunities for professional development and provide constructive feedback to team members.

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a hotel front office setting.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

- **Experience with Opera PMS is recommended.**

- Knowledge of IHG systems and procedures is a plus.

- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to handle challenging situations with composure and professionalism.

**Education and Experience:**

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel front office operations is recommended

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
