Job Title: Wellness Coordinator
Status: Full Time Days
Shift: 8am-4:30pm
Salary Range: $19.00/hr - 19.50/hr

- Current Lifeguard Certification accepted by the PA Department of Health, Aquatic Instructor Certification, OR willingness to become certified required
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification required
- Associate's degree and three (3) years of experience in the health and wellness field preferred
- Experience or training in group exercise, physiology, and gerontology preferred but not required
- Experience with senior-focused wellness programs preferred
- Group Fitness (i.e Silver Sneakers) and Personal Training Certifications or
ability/willingness to become certified preferred
- Oversees the Aquatics Center, Pool, Spa, and Locker-room areas.
- Plans and executes a variety of wellness activities and water/land classes to meet Wellness Member needs.
- Conduct aqua personal training sessions and swim lessons as requested.
- Provides lifeguard services.
- Provides for safety and security of the entire Aquatic Center, Pool, Spa and Locker-room areas with supervision of the Wellness Manager.
- Assist in planning, developing, evaluating and implementing comprehensive wellness programs and activities for residents, clients, team members, community members and all levels of care.
- Follow proper Wellness Center policies and procedures and promote safe work practices in order to maintain a safe working environment.
- Corresponds with internal clinical staff including physical therapy, physicians, and nurses to ensure proper exercise prescription for campus residents.
