Job Duties:

• Design, enhance, and monitor data analytics-driven customer segmentation and marketing targeting strategies to reengage and activate customers, ensuring a balance between risk mitigation, growth opportunities, and an optimal customer experience in consumer lending banking and financial services.
• Conduct campaign-level cost/benefit analyses, delivering data-driven recommendations utilizing quantitative skills, marketing analytics, and ROI comprehension.
• Continually evaluate marketing strategy returns in changing economic and market conditions, using financial evaluation methods such as discounted cash flow, net present value, and incremental value analysis.
• Develop subprime/near prime marketing analytics strategies, including customer segmentation.
• Measure the impact of marketing strategies on the bottom line using advanced analytical tools, including SAS, SQL, Python, Knowledge Seeker and Knowledge Studio.
• Utilize proprietary models to optimize campaign targeting, leveraging statistical/mathematical concepts including probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of regression analysis.
• Use financial concepts including discounted cash flow, terminal value, net present value, cost and incremental value uplift trade off analysis.
• Stay updated on and implement best practices in the marketing analytics domain, particularly those relevant to the financial services industry.
• Clearly communicate complex analytical findings to a broad business audience, simplifying technical jargon when necessary, using Quantitative skills, data analytics skills, marketing analytics knowledge and P&L understanding.
• Collaborate closely with marketing creatives teams, business development, and senior leadership to align strategies and insights.
• Regularly review and fine-tune the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
• Design and oversee analytics dashboards that track performance, emerging trends, and overall effectiveness of marketing efforts.
• Ensure all marketing campaign selection, analytics initiatives comply with company policies, particularly in risk and control activities.
• Maintain documentation and procedures that align with audit standards.
• Oversee the adherence to company policies, audit controls, and relevant regulatory requirements in all marketing analytics operations.
• Required to be in South Jordan Office at least 2 days per week. Must live in commuting distance of South Jordan, Utah.

Degree Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, or closely related field.

Experience Required:

5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Risk Manager, Statistician, or similar occupation.

Skill set Requirements (Special Requirements):

5 years of experience must be in the Credit Card Industry or Consumer Finance Industry.

Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience in:

• Consumer lending banking and financial services;
• Quantitative skills, data analytics skills, marketing analytics knowledge and P&L understanding;
• Statistical/mathematical concepts including probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of regression analysis;
• Financial concepts including discounted cash flow, terminal value, net present value, cost and incremental value uplift trade off analysis;
• SAS, SQL, Python, Knowledge Seeker, Knowledge Studio;
• Developing subprime/near prime marketing analytics strategies, including customer segmentation;
• Designing dashboards for tracking performance.
