We are a healthcare facility in South Salt Lake County that is looking for an organized, experienced Maintenance Director to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Oversees maintenance of the facility, grounds, and equipment
- Performs general maintenance work daily, including but not limited to, replacing light bulbs, repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances
- Conducts and documents safety tests
- Conducts inspections of the building's interior and exterior. Inspects storage rooms, work rooms, utility closets, etc., to assure that equipment is available and working correctly
- Trains and educates staff on safety, emergencies, and legal requirements
- Understands and ensures compliance with the laws and regulations governing healthcare facilities
- Maintains positive relationships with residents and staff
Requirements
- Prior healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred
- Minimum one year leadership experience
- Prior experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, repairs, or equivalent technical knowledge or licensing required
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Must be fluent in English
- High school diploma or equivalent
