Overview
- Process invoices for payment daily
- Handle accounts payable inquiries in order to facilitate accurate and timely records.
Responsibilities
- Open and sort mail
- Key and process invoices using Fusion & Mainframe systems
- Communicate with Category Managers, Buyers, and Vendors
- Process and pay expenses
- Process various internal statements for payment
- Process PFG statements and Crossdock
- Crosstrain to be backup for other A/P Clerks
- Cover Switchboard on occasion
- Coupons
- Help key vouchers into Fusion
- Pull and scan FEDI credits
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
- Typing 50 WPM, date entry, ten key, accounting knowledge, Microsoft Excel and Word, and experience with PCs.
- Excellent work habits.
- Excellent attendance.
- Always work with diligence and efficiency.
- Respect company policy.
- Results oriented.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and commitment.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be flexible with work hours.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing and challenging environment.
