Essential Functions and Basic Duties
Position Specific Performance Expectations:
o Answers and directs the department’s phone calls, mail, faxes, etc.
o Provides general support to visitors, acting as the primary point of contact for all internal and external customers.
o Coordinate HR projects, meetings, trainings, and schedules appointments as needed.
o Attends and documents meetings as requested.
o Prepare paperwork for human resources correspondence.
o Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and communications.
o Maintains human resource and employment records including employee files in both hard and soft copy.
o Converts personnel files from hard copy to electronic format.
o Updating Human Resources database and process employee request as appropriate.
o Updates department procedure manuals for the Human Resources Department.
o Updates employee manuals and other policies, forms or documents at the direction of the Director of Human Resources.
o Responds to and completes all Verification of Employment and Reference Check requests in a timely manner per policy.
o Manages the monthly service award program with support from management and the Director of Human Resources.
o Reconcile all monthly benefit invoice statements.
o Submits expense reports and other check requests as needed.
o Documents human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records as needed.
o Prepares reports and presentations for internal communications.
o Assists with orientation for new employees as appropriate.
o Coordinates with the HR team to assist with projects as needed.
o Projects excellent customer relations in all interactions.
o Provides clerical support for the Director of Human Resources and the Human Resources Department.
o Participates in special projects as requested by Director of Human Resources.
o Adheres to MRH and department dress code policies and procedures.
o Performs other duties as assigned.

o Completes annual education, training, in-service, and licensure/certification requirements; attends departmental and organizational staff meetings or reads meeting minutes.
o Reports to work on time and as scheduled; completes work within designated timeframes.
o Establishes and maintains effective verbal and written communication and good working relationships with all patients, staff and vendors.
o Utilizes initiative; strives to maintain steady level of productivity; self-motivated; manages activity and time.
o Actively participates in departmental and facility performance improvement and continuous quality initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
o Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions)
o Must be able to legally work in the United States
o Must be able to pass a background check
o Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable)
o Must complete employee health meeting
Education/Licensure/Certification:
o Associates degree preferred.
o Human Resources Certification, aPHR, PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
o Unencumbered License/Certification (if applicable)
Experience:
o Previous administrative or clerical experience preferred.
o Previous Human Resources experience preferred.
Position Classification: Non-exempt, Temporary position through 12/31/2024
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Compensation Range: $18.22 to $$24.60
