The Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for configuring, implementing and maintaining our Modern Work Cloud Platform consisting of various Microsoft 365 services including, but not limited to, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Mobile Device Management/InTune. The Senior Cloud Engineer will work closely with the entire IT team to configure, develop and support all our cloud platforms.

This position will be located at Central Office – Indianapolis, IN

Responsibilities

• Endpoint configuration associated with the building, deploying and support of associate mobile devices, laptops and desktops, and associated application configurations.
• Development and administration of on-premises and cloud software and hardware configuration management tools and patch deployment tools, antivirus, etc.
• Work with internal teams to review current environments to analyze effectiveness while driving a roadmap of automation
• Create, amend, and maintain security policies on the MDM while maintaining enforcement
• Application and patch management
• Partner closely with the Cybersecurity Solution Architect and the Security & Identity Engineer to ensure the security footprint of devices and endpoints
• Design, configure, administer and support cloud infrastructure using M365 services such as: SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Viva, and related capabilities.
• Collaborate with other Information Systems Team members to manage and administer M365 in a reliable, secure and accessible environment.
• Provide Tier 3 end-user support for M365 services including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive for Business.
• Develop and implement automation solutions using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience required.
• Master’s degree in Information Systems preferred.

License/Certification:

• Microsoft Cloud Fundamentals Certification required.
• Microsoft Cloud Expert Certification, ITIL Foundations preferred.

Experience:

• 5 plus years of experience in designing, configuring and implementing Microsoft 365 Cloud Technologies required including, but not limited to:

-Mobile Device Management/InTune

-SharePoint Online & OneDrive

-Microsoft Teams

• Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management or related technologies required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen and a commercial outlook required.
• Superior Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interface with a wide range of personalities and levels within Medxcel and Ascension organizations; Professional communication style required.
• Initiative: Self-starter with strong sense of ownership; Tenacity in problem solving with positive outcomes; Motivated to increase capacity and responsibility required.
• Detailed Oriented: Detailed administrative skills for tracking and reporting required.
• Experience in a similar role with demonstrated relationship building skills results in measurable results required.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies (Azure, M365, D365) required.
