Job Title: Senior Engineer - Wastewater Engineering
Location: Indianapolis, IN. Qualified candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to the Indianapolis, IN area

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer with a strong background in wastewater engineering to lead impactful projects in hazardous waste remediation, industrial wastewater design, creative and sustainable process & process optimization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- BS in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering (Advanced degree a plus)
- Proven record of delivering high-quality, on-schedule written work products within established budgets
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on moderately complex engineering projects
- Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills
- 15 years of experience in environmental field, specializing in wastewater treatment
- Profound understanding of water chemistries, wastewater systems, and designs
- Strong grasp of process engineering and improvement in water treatment
- Knowledge of biological and filtration systems
- Familiarity with moderately complex wastewater treatment facilities (industrial or municipal)
- Adherence to city, state, and federal water treatment compliances
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to travel locally and internationally (up to 30%)
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop products/services for internal and external customers
- Support Operations/Production Plants with engineering expertise in safety and regulatory compliance
- Improve and optimize existing engineering processes
- Lead environmental engineering projects, including feasibility studies and remedial designs
- Collaborate with customers on wastewater treatment and troubleshoot existing systems
- Prepare design packages with engineering calculations, design sheets, specifications, and competitive bid procurement
- Execute long-term monitoring projects, develop sampling plans, and participate in field investigation teams
- Assist in optimization and redesign of operating treatment systems
- Support environmental treatment system operations and maintenance staff
- Prepare a variety of plans and reports
