Medxcel is Hiring a Process Improvement Manager Near Indianapolis, IN

Overview

The Process Improvement Manager will actively collaborate with Medxcel Planning, Design and Construction (PDCE) stakeholders to identify and document to completion strategic initiatives for growth and improvement to enhance Medxcel PDCE's management and delivery processes. This role will utilize Lean Six Sigma methodology and analytics in collaboration with the organization to accomplish business objectives, will collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, Medxcel and partners in the planning, designing, documentation and implementation of key initiatives and activities.
This position will be located at Central Office- Indianapolis, IN

Responsibilities
System Design/Redesign/Process Management - 70%
  • Develop, execute and sustain effective process improvements that drive enhanced management and productivity improvements
  • Serve as a Change Agent driving the required cultural transformation and the adoption of successful Lean Six Sigma process improvement practices and by diagnosing barriers to project success and facilitating resolution
  • Identify, lead, and manage PDCE process improvement efforts and conduct quantitative analysis of process effectiveness
  • Leverage established continuous improvement (i.e. Lean and Six Sigma) methodologies to map current state processes and value streams including, process profiles, timings, counts, roles and responsibilities along with other key data elements
  • Develop KPIs and metrics relevant to PDCE processes and deliverables in alignment with the organization's strategic plan
  • Assist in establishing processes for PDCE leaders to measure, manage, track, and report operational project results and corresponding financial business benefits
  • Develop, maintain and update standardized PDCE operating procedures and policies
  • Duties will include execution of projects, data analysis and preparation, and training Lean Six Sigma methodology
Coaching and Development - 30%
  • Assist in creating and implementing an approach to measure the organizations capability in learning and applying the Continuous Improvement techniques
  • Assist in Continuous Improvement training, guidance, mentorship, and leadership as a foundation to ensure the organization is consistent in its approach
  • Assist in developing communications and education to the various organizational stakeholders regarding the
  • Continuous Improvement value proposition and the 'What's in It for Me' to driving improved business performance
  • Assist PDCE leaders and managers to define and report on their current state performance, recommended future state, improvement opportunities, and current and future state benefits with respect to the impact of the Continuous Improvement program
Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or Business required
  • Master's degree in related preferred
License/Certification:
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt required
  • Master Black Belt preferred
  • Project Management Professional credential preferred
Experience:
  • 10 years' experience successfully implementing a Continuous Improvement program required
  • Experience in a Healthcare Environment-Integrated Facilities Operation and Construction preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, MS EXCEL and competency in MS Office and MS Visio
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline driven, and dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyze processes and make recommendations for improvements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, change management and problem solving
  • Financial analysis
  • Knowledge of Problem Management and Agile Methodology
  • Ability to prioritize and organize large scale projects across the PDCE and Medxcel enterprise
  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to work within a matrix management environment
  • Ability to convey story of GAP analysis, improvement and automation opportunities based on data via visual communications, proposals and discussions
  • Ability to use data from systems to measure processes and define requirements for meaningful reports and dashboards
  • Possess strong business acumen and familiarity with business systems (eBuilder, Syntellis) and related processes
  • Ability to understand customer / client issues and creatively apply solutions to real-world issues with world-class results
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment with little supervision
  • Quality focused, attentive to detail, and result-oriented
  • Possess excellent leadership and facilitation capabilities, customer centricity, problem solving skills, data analysis skills, and experience in the implementation of change initiatives, workflow simplification, process improvement and project management
  • Some travel may be required depending on active project scope
