Per Diem Float Pool OverviewIf you are searching fora flexible RN position with PREMIUM PAY, the Registered Nurse PerDiem Float Pool is a great opportunity! Enjoy a flexible schedule and floatwithin the hospital wherever there are staffing needs. These positions requirea minimum of 1 year of med surg telemetry experience as we float all float poolnurses to all the Med Surg units and any of the following core units (IMC,Telemetry, ICU, ED) float nurses have worked previously.
Type C Available: Minimum of five 12-hour shifts per six-weekschedule; 1 full weekend per six-week schedule, 1 holiday per year, 1 hard tofill shift per year
Additional RequirementsCandidates cannot frontload or backload their requirements, meaning shifts must be spread out throughout the 6-week schedule instead of knocking them all out in the first week or so and not working again until the next 6 weeks.
For call outs on scheduled weekend shifts, they have to be made up within the 6-week period.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred. 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience strongly preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
• ACLS strongly preferred.
