As a Labor and Delivery Nurse on our Certified Baby Friendly Women's Health Unit, you will play a critical role in the journey of bringing new life into the world. On this 14 bed, 3 OR suite, and 8 OB triage bed unit your responsibilities include monitoring expectant mothers during labor, providing emotional support, administering medications as needed, and assisting with the delivery process. You'll work closely with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and positive childbirth experience for both the mother and baby, in their own private L&D room. Your attention to detail, quick decision-making skills, and compassion will be essential in this fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Delivers proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex.
• Identifies current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations.
• Critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status, and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.
Qualifications
•ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
•Prior Clinical Nursing L&D experience preferred (1-2 years of nursing experience).
•Active MD RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
