We are currently seeking a motivated self-starter to join our busy medical office. We are looking for someone who can "hit the road running" and is eager to contribute to our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care. This position requires compassion, care, the ability to multitask, and work closely with other team members. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones and providing professional and friendly assistance to patients and other callers.
  • Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records and information.
  • Scheduling patient appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers, and managing the appointment calendar efficiently.
  • Assisting patients with inquiries, providing information, and addressing their concerns to the best of your ability.
  • Collaborating closely with other team members to ensure seamless coordination and workflow.
  • Adhering to confidentiality and privacy regulations in handling sensitive patient information.
  • Operating in a fast-paced environment and managing tasks efficiently under pressure.

Qualifications:

  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients and colleagues.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
  • Familiarity or experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
