1. Policy Development and Implementation: (All Departments)
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures that protect the organization's assets, data, and employees.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding security.
2. Risk Assessment and Management:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats.
- Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks and prevent security breaches.
3. Physical Security:
- Oversee the security of physical facilities, including the implementation of security systems such as surveillance cameras and access control systems.
- Manage security personnel, including hiring, training, and supervision.
4. Cybersecurity:
- Oversee the response to and recovery from cybersecurity incidents.
5. Incident Response and Crisis Management:
- Develop and manage emergency procedures and incident response plans.
- Lead the response to security incidents and crises, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
6. Training and Awareness:
- Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.
- Ensure that all employees are aware of security policies and procedures and understand their role in maintaining security.
9. Reporting and Communication:
- Report to senior management on security statuses, incidents, and ongoing risk management efforts.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to ensure security measures are understood and followed.
