Medi Weightloss Clinics is Hiring a Medical Office Manager Near Forest, IL

```Duties```

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow

- Manage and supervise office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations

- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry regulations

- Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure timely delivery of healthcare services

- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Advantage to manage patient records and facilitate communication with healthcare providers

- Collaborate with medical professionals to optimize patient care and improve outcomes

- Monitor utilization management to ensure appropriate resource allocation and cost-effective practices

- Manage the budget for the medical office, including expense tracking and financial reporting

- Oversee medical billing and coding processes to ensure accurate reimbursement

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations

```Requirements```

- Proven experience in medical office management or a related field

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and regulations

- Familiarity with managing insurance claims

- Familiarity with electronic health record systems

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, staff, and healthcare providers

- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of utilization management principles is a plus

- Experience in medical office management or critical care settings is a bonus

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
