Knecht Home Center of Rapid City, a Mead Lumber Company, founded in 1910, is 100% Employee Owned, and listed in the Lumber Building Materials Journal as the 18 largest Pro Contractor lumber/building materials retailer in the country. Mead operates 52 Lumber Yard, Retail, Truss Plant, and Component locations across nine Midwestern states.
The Commercial OSR will create, foster and sustain valuable customer relationships with architects, developers and general contractors. This individual will be responsible for prospecting, material takeoffs (as needed), job site visits, preconstruction meetings, and project management. To act as the day-to-day manager and central point of contact on commercial projects overseeing materials, special order, scheduling, delivery, quality control and warranty. The Commercial OSR will increase brand and product awareness, cultivating new customers and managing existing customer relationships. Provide feedback to management in regard to needs of the customers.
