Paralegal/Legal Assistant
IMMEDIATE HIRE:

Innovative, boutique law firm is seeking to hire a motivated paralegal or legal assistant to grow with law firm. Our primary areas of practice are criminal defense and personal injury.

The ideal candidate must be forward-thinking, team-oriented, and capable of working efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Organizational and interpersonal skills are critical to this position. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Acting as a liaison between attorneys and clients; and
• Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings;
• Legal research and writing;
• Trial preparation (including conducting witness interviews and participating in legal strategy);
• File maintenance;
• Client relationship development; and
• Administrative tasks as needed.

Must be available 20-30 hours per week. Business hours are Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Minimum Education: Must have a high school diploma.
