Current Need:

This is a heavy remote role in Irving, TX. Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to Irving, TX.

As a Senior Sales Enablement Manager of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing comprehensive talent development initiatives aimed at nurturing the skills, knowledge, and potential of our net new business (prospecting) salesforce. You will be responsible for developing a strategic roadmap for sales-specific talent development that aligns with the organization's goals and fosters a culture of continuous learning and development.

This individual will play a key role in designing and implementing training programs for net new business sales roles, coaching and development, fostering leadership development, and driving continuous improvement in talent development processes and practices for your assigned sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to understand organizational objectives, workforce needs, and talent gaps.

  • Develop a cohesive talent development strategy for your assigned sales teams that supports the long-term goals of the organization and drives employee engagement, retention, and performance.

Needs Assessment and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and skills gap analyses to identify areas for salesforce talent development and training interventions.

  • Utilize data-driven insights and feedback mechanisms to inform decision-making and prioritize development initiatives.

Program Design and Implementation:

  • Design, develop, and implement (facilitate) tailored training programs, workshops, and learning experiences to address identified skill gaps and developmental needs; provide sales coaching as needed.

  • Leverage a variety of instructional design methodologies, technologies, and learning modalities to create engaging and impactful learning experiences for sales professionals at all levels.

Leadership Development:

  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and support to emerging leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities and drive organizational success.

  • Provide support to existing leaders in executing training pull through and coaching best practices.

Performance Management and Evaluation:

  • Establish clear performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPI's) to measure the effectiveness and impact of talent development initiatives.

  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, solicit feedback from participants, and make data-driven adjustments to improve program efficacy and relevance.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent development and adult learning theory.

  • Continuously assess and refine talent development processes, methodologies, and content to ensure alignment with evolving business needs and employee expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7 years of related experience, including a combination of healthcare new business sales AND experience in sales training, sales management, and/or talent development roles.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Education, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.

Critical Skills:

  • 5 years of sales training, sales management, and/or talent development experience.

  • 5 years sales experience that includes net new business sales and demonstrated proficiency in prospecting, needs discovery, executing proposals, negotiation, and closing.

  • Experience executing training strategies and deriving actionable insights through sales enablement tools preferred.

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful talent development strategies and programs in a corporate setting.

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and talent management best practices.

  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), talent management software, and other relevant technology platforms.

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical, and/or medical distribution industry experience highly preferred.

  • New business sales (i.e., hunting) experience highly preferred.

  • Experience with Outreach and HighSpot, or similar sales enablement tools preferred.

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position$107,600 - $179,400
