At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports.
Summary
Under general supervision, assesses client health problems and needs. Develops and implements nursing care plans and maintains medical records. Administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients. May advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
Responsibilities
· Complete required documentation for services rendered by utilizing the recognizable and acceptable documentation formats for nursing assessments, treatment plans and BHA's. Ensure documentation reflects the individual's treatment goals and objectives. Document in a clear and concise way in compliance with FY24 guidelines.
· Relay needed information to psychiatric staff. Report sudden/new changes in individual's behavior to appropriate psychiatric staff.
· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university OR Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND any related professional work experience.
· Note: Some positions require a valid Georgia’s Driver’s License.
Physical Demands may include
· Ability to lift and carry up to 25/50 lbs.
· Sitting, standing and/or walking, pushing/pulling, handling, reaching, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing (ladders or stairs), overhead reaching.
