Opportunity Description

• McFarland Truck Lines is seeking a Customer Service Representative whose area of responsibility include, but not limited to, dealing high volume of inbound and outbound calls, tracking and tracing shipments as required, solving and reporting customer service issues as they arise.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inbound and outbound calls from drivers
• Engage with customers and drivers in a friendly and professional manner
• Offer support and solutions to customers and drivers
• Solve customer service issues as they arise
• Update customers on delivery times
• Schedule and update loads
• Track and Trace shipments as necessary
• Report and document any issues

Required Skills

• Industry knowledge preferred
• Strong English, verbal and written communication
• Experience with high volume phone calls
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Problem solving and critical thinking to address complex issues
• Excellent keyboard skills
• Comfortability with multiple web applications

Education Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

• This job is in Austin, MN without the ability to work remotely

Compensation

• Salary based position with monthly bonus potential

Pay: From $56,000.00 per year
