Summary:
Chicagoland Construction Company is seeking an Project Manager for its office in Near North Chicago Office. This position will be responsible onsite Construction.
Requirements:
Major Responsibilities:
Ø Work with Owner’s and their Consultants on projects from concept through construction.
Ø Obtain required licenses, permits, bonding and insurance prior to and during construction.
Ø Develop price proposals and competitive bids with detailed breakdowns identifying material quantities, equipment and labor costs.
Ø Negotiate pricing with subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers to maintain competitive pricing.
Ø Create detailed project budgets for company review and monthly analysis.
Ø Prepare subcontractor agreements and administer company self-performance adhering to Contract compliance requirements as mandated by the Client.
Ø Understanding of diversity and local residency goals as required while providing avenues for outreach and good faith efforts.
Ø Prepare submittals, RFIs, change order requests and other pertinent documentation
Ø Communicate work activities to project team; ensure construction operations follow quality and safety criteria and are being performed according to plan.
Ø Facilitate a positive working relationship with current and potential future clients; promote company services and credentials.
