Job Overview:
The Customer Service Representative will contribute to the success of MCD Innovations, Inc. by being a point- of- contact and liaison between MCD and our customers. Comfortable with working in a fast-paced, challenging environment. Self-motivated, critical thinker, detailed oriented and having a strong work ethic to contribute to the success of the organization. This role will provide excellent customer service by promptly and accurately answering customer inquiries and concerns via telephone and email.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Accurately process high volume purchase orders in a timely manner. Inform customer via email/telephone of PO confirmations, shipping dates, anticipated delays and/or incorrect pricing. Responsible for responding to all customer inquiries, verifying customer and order information for accuracy, checking against previous POs, as necessary.
• Responsible for identifying and reconciliation of PO discrepancies that will help eradicate accelerating cost and shipping down time. Communicate with department manager regarding discrepancies, delays, etc. that will impact customer order.
• Accountable for diligently following PO’s through to completion, working cross functionally to quickly resolve issues that will delay timely processing of customer orders, while following established PO procedures.
• Participate/lead in continuous improvement projects.

• Assist in fostering a positive work environment. Ability to work independently as well as able to collaborate within a team and cross functionally to aid in process improvements, ability to multi-task and prioritize for maximum efficiency while maintaining accuracy.
• Follows all safety procedures and operational procedures, as well as, wearing and maintaining all required PPE.
• Must be computer literate to utilize MS Office, Outlook, internet, copy/scanners/fax machines, web-based and job specific software applications.
• Other various duties as assigned to support the organization.

Work Environment:

This job works in an office environment inside a manufacturing facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, photocopiers, and fax machines. This list is not all inclusive.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk and listen. The employee is regularly required 8-10 hours a day to sit, stand, walk, use steps, use hands to fingers, reach with hands, repetitive bending, and squatting. The ability to lift up to 25 lbs. is required of the employee.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Two to five years’ experience in Customer Service and order entry

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Some college or associate degree
• 1 year of account management experience
