Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Perform premium accounting/clerical transactional activities, with appropriate segregation of duties, which may include the following: Collection of premiums. Posting agent payments. Reconciliation of account discrepancies. Follow up with agents on various reports. Trace transactions and verify policy information and account status. Provide customer service to agents and insureds by phone and/or email regarding billing questions and taking payments. Review and calculate premium due including fees for Reinstatement Offers. Create trouble tickets (i.e., adjust billing, reverse fees, waive fees, etc.) within billing system as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidate must have experience in Microsoft Excel. 0 - 2 years of related experience is preferred but not required. Bilingual Proficiency: Ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Insurance Industry experience is a plus.
