Mayor and City Council of Baltimore is Hiring a Remote Compliance Lead / Operations Officer III
THIS IS A NON-CIVIL SERVICE POSITION CITY OF BALTIMORE, MAYOR'S OFFICE OF SMALL AND MINORITY BUSINESS ADVOCACY AND DEVELOPMENT OPERATIONS OFFICER III/Compliance Lead OPENING DATE: April 26, 2024 CLOSING DATE: May 1, 2024 This position would function as the lead of contract compliance. This position would be responsible for supervising: Monitoring the contract compliance teammates work on pre-bid M/WBE compliance, post-award M/WBE contract goal compliance; waivers, and goal setting; Identify contract issues involving payment delays or disputes to be handled by the Payment Liaison; post-award change management of subcontractor additions or substitutions; review of contract items in BOESubmit; presentations to the BOE; review of Workday requisitions; Attend Pre-bid meetings; Attend construction kick-off meetings; Conduct BOE briefings to the Mayor, CAO, Comptroller, &/or Council President; recommend areas for additional agency training to the Training Officer; Identify process improvements regarding compliance monitoring; & any additional aspects of overseeing procurement and compliance related matters. This position will collaborate with Deputy Campbell in resolving compliance issues, referring matters for investigation, and elevating matters for potential disciplinary recommendations. There will be many opportunities for collaboration with the Training Officer and Chief of Innovation & Strategic Partnerships.
