Responsibilities

MaxLinear is seeking a Financial Analyst I to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on the following:

• Executive Demand Assessment
  • Assist in the monthly preparation and consolidation of the EDA forecast
  • Collaborate with the four Business Units and the Sales organization to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of forecasts
  • Create various analyses and presentations based on discussions with management to address information requirements
  • Utilize the Adexa reporting tool for administrative tasks
• Revenue Forecast
  • Support weekly revenue meetings and monitor the evolution of Billings and Bookings in comparison to quarterly revenue targets
  • Validate revenue and gross margin figures between the ledger and Data Warehouse
• Operations Finance Support:
  • Generate monthly and quarterly inventory reports and conduct analyses, providing recommendations on areas for inventory reduction
  • Assist in the quarterly standard cost rollout
• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses
• Independently manage projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision, while ensuring regular updates to supervisors on project progress and any outstanding issues
• Undertake system administration tasks
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and comprehend the budgeting and forecasting processes

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills paired with business and financial acumen
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint at an advanced level
• Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions effectively
• Collaborative team player capable of building trust and rapport with other departments
• Flexible and proactive approach to handling special projects, while efficiently managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
• Adexa experience preferred
• BS in Finance, Accounting or related

Compensation and Benefits

MaxLinear has a Total Compensation philosophy which includes base salary and annual discretionary bonus eligibility and many positions also include stock-based compensation.

MaxLinear expects to offer a starting base salary within the range of: $63,200 to $75,100 Annually

The actual starting base salary will be determined by the match to certain role-related criteria such as educational degree(s) or equivalent, relevant work experience, skillset needed for the role, and geographic location; this is not an all-inclusive list as some roles may require unique skills or experience.
